Customer Interview No. 3

Although this is the last set of interviews assigned I know it wont be the last time I have to go out and do something I am uncomfortable with for this class! So with that being said heres the last set of interviews!

For this weeks interviews I hit the place where I could find the most people eating at once. The Food Court! I typed up a summary of my idea and gave it to each of the people I interviewed prior to starting the interview, then asked them questions about their thoughts and possible comments . Overall I found this interview easier because it was easier to get my point across when I wasnt the one explaining it. It made it easier to write it out and let people read it themselves.

  1. I would agree with you 100% It seems a lot easier when you give them a piece of paper or even a note card of your business approach or idea. And they can see what it is about for themselves. I liked your interviews because it was clear and they seemed like they knew exactly what to say! Great post.

  2. Hello,

I liked your videos and I personally think your idea is great. Having the chance to check the wait times at restaurants would be very beneficial before going out to eat. Going out and interviewing others is not easy, especially with a camera in their face. I think your interviewing style was fantastic, and I think everyone can benefit from your idea! 3. I think your idea is great. Its a pain when I go to my favorite restaurant and there us a big waiting line. If I could know how much time i had to wait before going to the place, i would love it. Your interviews are a great way to know if people like the idea and most of them seem to like it so good luck with it.

  4. Hey Niamh!

I think you do awesome in your interviews. While you did have some set questions, it was good to see how you adjusted based upon their responses. Your idea would be good for a town like Gainesville especially on the weekends as some places tend to get pretty busy and it is hard to know which are packed before going out. You also picked a good place to find potential interviewees as a food court definitely hits your target audience. Again, good job on the interviews!

  5. Hey Niamh! I think your interviews were really interesting to watch. I enjoyed hearing about your idea. I think an app that told you the wait time at various restaurants would be an amazing idea. I went out just last weekend and tried to go to dragonfly and the wait was 2 hours! Insane. Love love love your idea and hope to see it come to life. I posted my blog incorrectly so I can’t share the link. Keep up the good work!
