Elevator Pitch No. 2

From my last post I recieved mainly positive feedback, but one person did mention that I should go into a bit more detail about how the information will be shared between restaurant and customer. I tried to improve on that this time around. I hope you like it!

  1. Niamh,
I really like your idea. It is very smart and I feel like I would definitely get use out of it. You did good keeping your elevator pitch at 1 minute or less. You also did good explaining more about your app. You definitely spoke more in detail this time around so great job! I was wondering how you would make your money though. You said your app is free, how are you going to make profit off of it? Great work though!

  2. Good job on presentation. It's very important that you give an introduction in your pitch to establish yourself, and the idea is a great one as it address many issues people have wanting to go out to eat last minute.

  3. I think apps are totally trending right now- especially among college student entrepreneurs. I've seen a lot of food industry-related types of ideas and they're all pretty great. I think it's an awesome idea! My only constructive criticism is that maybe in the beginning of your pitch, try to be a little more creative/ enthusiastic to get the audience's attention. Your tone and pronunciation was good, but if it were the real world, it could be really beneficial when wanting to really wow a boss or company.

  4. Hey, Niamh! Fancy seeing you here. On your blog. As if I've never read any other blog posts of yours (Did you know there are no bears in Africa?)... Anyway, I really liked your app idea and I would most definitely use it. Your elevator pitch was of a reasonable length of time which is cool. And like Shaina said in an earlier comment, I am curious how the app would make money... Ad revenue maybe? Restaurant sponsorship? Nicely done though!

I didn't do any of the elevator pitch videos, but if you want to check out the rest of my blog you can at nika-uf-ent3003.blogspot.com

  5. Hey!
I personally am a fan of this app! Sadly, I do eat a lot of fast food so this would be a helpful app for me! I thought you could have spoken just a little louder and maybe a little slower but it was nothing major! I am curious to see if the restaurants would be a fan of this app or not because if their wait times are long it would drive their customers away, especially if the app wasn't correct. Also, one last thing that if you were going to put fastfood on your app I would suggest having the app refresh the wait time more often than every thirty minutes because in fast food the wait times fluctuate so often. Overall, great job and great idea!!
